Minimum Clear Opening of Doorway
81 cm (32 inches) measured between the face of the door and the stop with the door open 90 degrees.
Minimum Clear Turning Space
150 cm (60 inches) diameter
Ramps
Maximum slope is 1:12 (8.33%) and maximum horizontal length between landings is 9 meters
The ratio 1:12 means that a ramp must have at least 12 meters of length for every rise of 1 meter

How do I sign up?
Register today by completing the online registration form:

Library staff may also refer eligible patrons for service using an online form available via the “Online Forms” link at:

What do I need to do?
• Identify your print disability – a self declaration is enough, no documentation is required
• Select the type of service you prefer: online, circulating items, or both
• Provide your public library card number or barcode
What happens next?
A librarian from CNIB will contact you set up your library service.
