The federal election is on October 19, 2015.

Voter information card     
  • You should have received a voter information card by now. It tells you when and where to vote.
• Didn’t get one? You may not be registered to vote. Check that your registration is up-to-date at or call Elections Canada at 1-800-463-6868.
  You can vote in advance
  • Advance polling places are open this Friday to Monday, October 9 to 12.
• For times and locations, check your voter information card or
• Learn about the accessibility services available at your polling place.   • You can also vote:
– at any Elections Canada office – by October 13 at 6:00 p.m.
– by mail – apply by October 13 at 6:00 p.m.
  Check that you have the right ID
  • Don’t forget to bring the right ID when you go to vote. Check for the full list of ID. This infographic has useful options and examples.
  Get the latest information and share it
  • Information is available in multiple formats – audio, video and infographic. Call Elections Canada to order print, large print, Braille or other formats.
  • Elections Canada has voting information in 31 heritage and 12     Aboriginal languages.   Telephone service is available in over 110 languages.
    Remember: To vote, you need to be a Canadian citizen, be at least 18 years old on election day, and prove your identity and address.
