National Pharmacare: What should national pharmacare look like?

The Advisory Council on the Implementation of National Pharmacare is hosting a Town Hall (Community Dialogue Session) in Toronto.  In Budget 2018, the Federal Government announced the creation of an Advisory Council on the Implementation of National Pharmacare. The Council will assess options and provide independent advice to the Minister of Health and the Minister of Finance on how best to implement national pharmacare in a manner that is affordable for Canadians, employers and governments.  Speakers include: Dr. Eric Hoskins, Chair, Advisory Council on the Implementation of National Pharmacare.

  • What should our approach to national pharmacare be?
  • Who should be covered and how should it be implemented?
  • Which medications should be covered?
  • Who would pay for the plan?

The Council wants to hear from you on this important topic.

When: Monday September 24, 2018, 7:00pm-8:30pm
Where: Wellesley Room, Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown, 30 Carlton Street, Toronto ON.
